Abstract
Decentralized, proactive, team-based clinical pharmacy services have been demonstrated to improve patient and health system processes and outcomes. Little is known about the characteristics of clinical pharmacy services at small hospitals in British Columbia (B.C.) or the reported enablers and barriers to clinical pharmacy service delivery. An online survey questionnaire was synthesized to describe the characteristics of, and identify the top enablers and barriers associated with, clinical pharmacy service delivery in B.C. small hospitals. The results of this study will inform future implementation interventions to improve clinical pharmacy service delivery by modifying barriers to implementation.
