Program Standards - national (cprb)
Our program is accredited by the Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board, and is committed to upholding
its standards throughout all facets of program design, content, and delivery. Our program also
operates in collaboration with the four other Pharmacy Practice Residency Programs in British
Columbia, which collectively maintain an additional set of standards which provide further guidance
on program design, content, and delivery.
The BC Pharmacy Residency Standards contains policy statements regarding: criteria for successful completion of residency, procedures for when a resident is not meeting performance expectations of a direct patient care rotation, professional conduct, leaves of absence, sick leave, program extension and discipline.
See below for national standards that govern our PGY1 residency program.
