Island Health Residency Program Resident Travel Policies
CONFERENCES, TRAVEL & OUT OF TOWN ROTATIONS
Throughout the residency year residents will need to travel outside their POD site area to participate in residency events and activities. Examples of activities that may require travel are:
Residency Rotations at Out of Town Sites
CSHP Banff Conference in Banff, Alberta (if funding approved)
Residency Research Night in Vancouver
Residents will need to incur expenses for these activities that are eligible for reimbursement subject to our residency program's travel policy and Island Health's policy regarding travel expenses.
