Accreditation Requirements for Speakers
Pharmacotherapy & Infection Grand Rounds are accredited by the Royal
College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. To meet accreditation requirements speakers must:
- Declare and disclose conflicts of interest
- Provide three learning objectives for their presentation
- Provide an opportunity for the presentation to be interactive with the audience by having a question and answer period
- Provide a topic title as soon as possible for posting on the schedule
- Provide a short bio in the speaker document that can be used to introduce you. If you are a returning speaker we can re-use your bio.
- Return the "Speaker Topic & Information Form" at least 1 week prior to the rounds date
- Include two slides at the beginning of your presentation with your learning objectives and your disclosure statement
Announcements for rounds are sent out 1 week prior to the rounds date. The "Speaker Topic & Information
Form" is used by the organizers to collect information required for rounds accreditation. Speakers
are asked to return this form as an email attachement at least 1 week prior to the date that the
rounds will take place.
